Daily Ag Direction 8/07/25
Good Afternoon!
All markets were trading higher this morning with corn being the biggest win as DEC corn is above the $4 level. Hopefully corn will continue to retain its value in this range. Wheat also built strength after recovering losses from previous sessions. Paris wheat also found support mostly built on reports of poor quality in the Baltic States. In other positive news wheat seems to have found some export channels to Bangladesh and Nigeria boosting US export sales. Soybeans are also higher today. Most of this is due to the heat spell in the Corn Belt. As I have said in the past, take advantage of the bounces as they come and be checking the markets for potential marketing opportunities.
Looking ahead at the weather, light rain chances expected for Kansas and the Oklahoma Panhandle. As we move through the weekend, expect temperatures to hang in that 90 to low 100’s range.
SEP KC Wheat +10.0 @ $5.22
JUL 26 KC Wheat +9.6 @ $5.42
SEP Corn +4.6 @ $3.85
DEC 25 Corn +5.6 @ $4.07
SEP Beans +8.4 @ $9.74
NOV 25 Beans +9.2 @ $9.94
