Daily Ag Direction 8/04/25

Good Morning!

Wheat up a little higher this morning as markets faced pressure in the overnight session. New contract lows were seen but seem to be bouncing back after a rally in the Paris market and across the SEP/DEC Paris spread. Harvest continues to progress across the Ukraine and Russia with quality issues continuing to be a concern. Corn continues to stagnate after lower overnight trade and favorable weather forecasts. Corn harvest has kicked off in the Delta, bringing with it reports of good yields. Soybeans took a hit this past week with oil and meal values lower. Weather has been ideal thus far causing weather related concerns to decrease. While growing weather for fall crops has been ideal and a blessing, it makes me feel increasingly more bearish about prices. Keep a close eye on the market to identify potential selling opportunities when bounces arise.

Looking ahead at the weather this week, expect little to no rain as rain chances are low. The areas that may get rain are in a band stretching from Central Oklahoma to East and Central Kansas. While this is a wide swath, the chances of rain are marginal.

SEP KC Wheat +1.4 @ $5.20

JUL 26 KC Wheat +2.2 @ $5.82

SEP Corn -0.2 @ $3.89

DEC 25 Corn -1.2 @ $4.10

SEP Beans +5.4 @ $9.75

NOV 25 Beans +6.0 @ $9.95
